<p>Just when the real estate category (if not the whole ad scene) was flooded with over-styled, over-retouched visuals in the last decade that could be coined as &#8220;The Soulless Sameness&#8221;, WHATEVER believes it&#8217;s time to whisper than to shout, especially for Hillcrest Capital Limited, a high end developer that puts excellence on top of everything else.</p>
<p>The branding process is grounded with words, the naming.</p>
<p>Located on Cape Road on the South of Hong Kong Island, the living area with the heritage of the blue blooded, WHATEVER has come up with a name simple enough to remember, relevant enough to convey layered meanings, and special enough to grasp attention.</p>

<p>In order to keep practising what he preaches, Man To chooses to split his time between the lecture rooms, and the real world of branding.</p>

<p>&#8220;i knew him when he was an award-winning art-based creative director in the ad circle.  and now his identity covers graphic designer, photographer, director and artist as well,&#8221; says tony wong, creative partner of whatever branding inc.  </p>
<p>on top of his iconic redwhiteblue works, stanley shared with whateverians works unpublished and not seen by the mass.</p>
<p>chungking express movie poster, lan wei photo series, heaven on earth installation, we are the one installation, speechless photo series, impermanence installation, tomorrow post collaborative works, painting by god installation, form is emptiness and the complete heart sutra calligraphed in fadable ink.</p>
<p>regarding a series of photos he shot at yunnan, perhaps it&#8217;s the &#8220;rituals&#8221; behind that inspire us most.</p>
<p>&#8220;all photos were taken by a 8&#215;20 camera.  imagine the packing, the transporting, the custom clearing, the carrying, the unpacking, the setting-up, the wrapping-up&#8230;..and all that would have made one to bring a nice and handy digital camera instead.  yet again, they are the rituals that show my respect for the shoot, for the creation of these work pieces,&#8221; reiterates anothermountainman.</p>
